2019 March

March hit the ground running and hasn’t stopped since.

We might have one more cold snap but for the most part, the chilly weather is over wit here in Austin. I made it through the ‘bad’ months and am looking forward to April when I’ll have been in Texas a full year. Can’t believe the love and support I have been given since moving here. It has helped heal my soul.

I had Bob Appel over the other day helping me put some Twang-Dust on some of my original tunes. That guy is a walking-talkin encyclopedia of classic country music. Still writing about heart-break and loneliness but hell, ain’t that country music. Want to get a record out by end of summer if I can afford it and find the time.

Sold my black 1970 Ford truck, “$100 Bill”, to a good friend. I couldn’t bring it with me here and had not drove it in a year. I know $100Bill is going to a great home. It’s time to get me a Texas Truck so keep a look out for a vintage Ford and hit me up if ya see one.

Connected my drummer pal Russ y his wife with an agent down in San Antonio to buy a home. As y’all know, I have my real estate license and was glad to counsel them both on the in’s y out’s of the tricky r/e world. Got any questions about a property? Give a shout. I just may write out us in my “Coffee y Taco” blog I put out each month.

Until then, keep L-I-V-I-N!
